Ukraine Recovery is an international charity organization dedicated to aiding the people of Ukraine during the ongoing invasion. We work with our Ukraine-based team and a network of local partners to provide food, supplies, housing and other humanitarian needs to Ukrainian civilians, businesses, and displaced refugees.
Ukraine Recovery is spearheaded by McDonald Paper, an American restaurant supply and distribution company operating out of New York City since 1994. Our Ukrainian subsidiary Promaster UA has been operating out of Kyiv since 2006. It employs over 60 people and has outposts in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro and Lviv.
Since the beginning of the invasion on February 24th, 2022, many of our Ukrainian clients and partners have converted their businesses into food distribution centers and humanitarian aid centers. Our localized positioning and extensive network allows us to directly support their initiatives, while staying flexible to accommodate new demands.
We also work closely with people on the ground to identify and allocate resources towards other humanitarian needs, such as food supply, refugee housing and construction. Our key partner in the region is our Ukrainian partner, entrepreneur Andrey Torubara, who returned to Ukraine at the beginning of the invasion to oversee refugee transportation, resource distribution, and other humanitarian efforts.
Below is a breakdown of our key efforts. We are looking for partners who can help us both through the donation of supplies and through financial contributions. We provide 501(c)(3) donation receipts for all contributions.
1. SUPPLIES
Immediately after the invasion, we donated our entire supply of the Promaster UA warehouse to local food and humanitarian aid centers. Today, we are looking at our suppliers to help us continue this mission through donations of supplies.
Donations:
Disposable food supplies: dinnerware, drinkware, utensils, food packaging, napkins, etc.
Janitorial supplies: cleaning supplies, soap and sanitizer, toilet paper, paper towels, etc.
2. FOOD
We are continuously collecting and distributing food items to civilian and refugees through our local partners.
Donations:
Non-perishable food items: canned foods, dried foods, nuts, grains, etc.
3. HOUSING
We are renting housing for displaced people, both in Ukraine in Poland. We are using our local network to identify individuals and families in need and are offering them safe and comfortable housing during this trying time.
Donations: Financial contributions.
4. CONSTRUCTION
We are working on collecting construction materials that will allow Ukrainians to rebuild their infrastructure. All construction materials will be distributed to verified construction companies working in the restoration sector.
Donations:
Construction supplies: float glass, window profiles, doors, paint, etc.
We are grateful to companies and individuals who would like to support our cause. If you are a company that provides any of the listed goods and are interested in donating your product, please reach out to us using contact details or the below form:
